Tugboats Preschool is a private Ofsted registered morning session nursery dedicated to providing loving, nurturing, quality care and learning in our family-oriented environment in the heart of Mortlake with close proximity to local parks and community playgroups.
We aim to create a 'home away from home' learning environment with optimum educational activities for the natural development of children’s personal, social and emotional development, where your child is offered a rich variety of play-based curricular activities to prepare your little ones’ transition into big school.
We use the early years foundation stage curriculum to ensure that we have a consistent approach to the care of children from two years old until the end of the foundation stage.
This is a learning through play approach and focuses on the age, stage and individuality of a child.
Our aim and intention are to nurture and educate the child as a whole, focusing on and providing them and their families with opportunities based on their individual needs.
We want to install strong family values, which embrace the widely diverse community we live in. We believe in good manners, courtesy and respect for ourselves and all others to be just as important as any other aspect of school and life in general, which is why we promote an open-door policy, working in partnership with parents and carers. The children are encouraged to work together building strong relationships, social skills, confidence and self-esteem.
Children can attend Tugboats Preschool from 2 to 5 mornings or full days a week. Our doors are open for you Monday to Friday during term time only.
Our sessions run from 9am - 12.10pm or 9am - 1pm with packaged lunch or an all day session from 9am-3pm
We accept 2,3 & 4 y/o funding subject to availability and tax-free childcare
